Centre for Specialized Support for Persons with Disabilities and Their Families

The project for a building accommodating two social services – a Residential Care Service for Adults with Dementia and a Centre for Specialised Support for Persons with Disabilities and Their Families – has been developed in accordance with the quality standards and criteria set out in the Ordinance on the Quality of Social Services, as specified in the technical brief and its accompanying schemes, site plan, and planning visa.

The project reflects contemporary European approaches and practices in the field and forms part of the ongoing reform of the national social care system. Its implementation within Veliko Tarnovo Municipality will mark an important step towards addressing a significant social need: the provision of day-care and residential-care services for people living with dementia.
