Vasil Levski Palace of Culture and Sports, Veliko Tarnovo

The “Vasil Levski” Palace of Culture and Sports is located in Block 236 under the development plan of Veliko Tarnovo.

The building was constructed and put into operation in 1984. Since then, only minor alterations have been made to the internal spaces, including the creation of new storage areas, functional connections, and improvements to ensure accessibility.

The proposed design includes partial renovation of the interior spaces, covering the staff foyer, playing area, administrative sector, changing-room sector, dance and climbing halls, and the connecting corridors.

All premises within the administrative sector, the representative area, and the changing-room zone, including the foyer at the staff entrance will undergo major renovation. Floor finishes will be replaced; wall panelling and suspended ceilings will be partially renewed; walls will be repaired and repainted.

Recently renovated spaces, as well as areas not requiring refurbishment, are excluded from the scope of works. The project also includes the partial implementation of energy-efficiency measures, including thermal and waterproof insulation to facades and roofs.
