Project Description:

The architectural composition is based on a compact six-storey symmetrical volume – a monolith with a central atrium space, oriented along the long east-west axis. The rigidity of the single volume corresponds to the urban context of the campus, dominated by buildings with simple volumes and monumental scale. In contrast to the monolith form are the filigree, predominantly glazed facades, which allow the penetration of light into the depths of the building. Through external sun protection, internal antiglare blinds and specialized curtains a high degree of illumination is provided while preventing heat gain.
