Project Details

Project Description:

The birthplace of Elena Panayotova is located in the middle of the plot. It is a brick two-storey building, and entirely cladded in limestone. There is another building that is in a regulation line and consists of a two parts - one garage and anothery two-story building. The studio is a small building with reinforced concrete structure. Both buildings are located diagonally relative to one another. The project increases the exhibition area and creates two existing buildings. The new addition connects the existing buildings and increases the available exposition area. It also makes a smooth transition from the street at a higher level to the much lower level one of the rear court while providing a natural transition between the two existing buildings. It also creates sufficient space immediately accessible from the street, a new space convenient to accommodate temporary exhibitions and different public events.
